FAST TRACK MOVERS INC. Client Service Agreement & Liability Waiver Effective Date: April 5, 2025 1. Scope of Agreement This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Fast Track Movers Inc. (the “Company”) and the undersigned client (the “Client”) for the provision of professional moving and related logistical services (the “Services”). By engaging the Company, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth herein. 2. Our Commitment to Service Fast Track Movers Inc. is committed to delivering exceptional service with care, efficiency, and professionalism. We approach each move on a case-by-case basis. In the event of accidental damage caused directly by our personnel, the Company will take appropriate and reasonable measures to address the issue and make it right in good faith. We carry comprehensive commercial moving insurance with coverage up to $3,000,000, including general liability and cargo protection. Full policy information is available upon request. As part of our service process: ● Our crews will take photographs of any pre-existing damage to items prior to moving them. ● Lamps must either be fully boxed, or the lamp head cover must be removed and placed in a box along with the bulbs. ● Televisions must be boxed. If a television is not boxed, it may still be transported at the client’s own risk, and Fast Track Movers Inc. will not be held responsible for any damages incurred. ● Our quotes are based on fitting all contents into one moving truck, unless otherwise quoted. If a second truck is needed, additional charges will apply based on travel distance and travel hours. ● Quotes for a second truck will be sent for client approval prior to dispatch. 3. Limitations of Liability 3.1. Unboxed and Improperly Packed Items ● The Company assumes no liability for damages to items that are not securely packed in sealed, protective boxes, excluding furniture and oversized items that cannot reasonably be boxed. ● Loose, unpacked, or exposed items are transported at the Client’s own risk. 3.2. Pressboard and Particleboard Furniture ● Items constructed from pressboard, particleboard, MDF, or similar materials are highly susceptible to structural failure under minimal stress. ● The Company is not liable for any damage to such items, regardless of care taken during handling. 3.3. Storage Liability ● Once items have been placed in storage (temporary or long-term), the Company’s responsibility ends. ● We are not liable for any damage, loss, deterioration, or theft that occurs after items are delivered to a storage facility or location. 3.4. Hazardous Materials and Prohibited Items ● The Company does not transport hazardous goods, including gasoline, propane, chemicals, explosives, firearms, ammunition, or corrosive substances. ● Live plants are also excluded due to their sensitive nature and high risk of damage in transit. 4. Packing Materials and Client Preparation The Client is responsible for supplying all necessary packing materials (e.g., boxes, totes, bubble wrap, tape) and ensuring that all items are adequately secured prior to the commencement of the move. The Company reserves the right to decline transportation of any items deemed unsafe, poorly packed, or at risk of damage. 5. Quotes and Estimates Quotes ARE estimates based on what you show us. ● Pictures are a MUST. If you do not have access to sending photos, then a detailed list or an in-person assessment must be conducted. ● We quote based on what you show and tell us. You must communicate the number of boxes and any large or unique items. ● Read carefully: Our quotes are based entirely on the information you provide. The more detail you give, the more accurate your quote will be. Factors that may affect the quote: House Moves: ● If large or awkward items need to be transported through tight areas such as narrow doorways, steep staircases with low ceilings, or slim walkways, our crew will bring this to the client’s attention prior to attempting the move. These situations may pose a risk of damage to the item or to walls/doors and will require client approval before proceeding. ● Not presenting all items that need to be moved ● Layout of the house (both current and new locations) ● Parking/access availability ● Tight doorways or doors that need to be removed to fit items ● Steep staircases with low ceilings or tight turns ● Assembly and disassembly of items to make them fit Please read and inform us of these factors prior to the move so we can provide an accurate estimate. Apartment Moves: ● All house move factors apply ● If the elevator is not designated for the move, it can drastically increase the time required to complete the job ● Elevator size: If it cannot fit larger items like couches or beds due to width/height, this may require disassembly or using stairs, which will affect your quote 6. Rates, Deposits, and Payment Terms Rates: ● 2-Man Crew: $199/hour ● 3-Man Crew: $275/hour ● 4-Man Crew: $350/hour ● Travel Time: $150/hour * For One Truck* ● Travel Distance: $1.55/km * For One Truck* ● Storage: $200/month, due in full 1 month from the date items are moved into storage. ● Cleaning Fee: If items (including but not limited to furniture, appliances, or boxes) are excessively dirty and cause our trucks or blankets to require cleaning, a cleaning fee will be applied to cover the time and supplies needed to restore equipment. Note: These are our only rates. There are zero hidden fees. Deposits and Payment: ● A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm the service date. This amount will be applied toward the final invoice. ● Full payment is due within 48 hours of the invoice being issued. ● We understand certain exceptions may apply for government-funded, corporate, or third-party-invoiced moves, which may involve longer processing times. We ask to be informed in advance with supporting documentation. Claims and Dispute Resolution In the event of any loss or damage, claims must be submitted in writing to the Company within 10 business days of the service date. We evaluate claims on a case-by-case basis and are committed to resolving issues fairly and professionally. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, and any legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Alberta courts. 8. Public Representation and Social Media Fast Track Movers Inc. is committed to professionalism, transparency, and fair resolution. ● Clients are encouraged to bring any concerns directly to the Company so we may address and resolve them promptly and professionally. ● While we respect every client’s right to share their experience, knowingly false or exaggerated claims—whether online, in writing, or via social media—may result in legal action to protect the Company’s reputation and brand. ● This clause is not intended to prevent honest feedback, but to ensure that public representations are truthful and made in good faith. 9.
